Thank you to all those who visited our Street Fest booth over the weekend and donated hats for our 2023 Hat Drive. We are now 25% toward our goal of 100 hats!
As a reminder, we will be collecting new and newly made winter hats as part of our Hat Drive through October 30th, 2023. Hats should be soft next to skin, machine-washable preferred. Students can earn 4 SSL hours for each contribution of a hat they have made.
Our drop-off locations have changed! Please consider dropping off a hat at:
- Front desk, temporary location of the Takoma Park library, 7505 New Hampshire Avenue (Units 201-208 of former Salvation Army; during business hours only)
- Gray bin on the front step, 14 Darwin Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912
- Gray bin on the front porch, 51 Elm Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912
