Thanks to all of you who responded to our call for support and made an investment in Tommy’s Pantry. We are grateful for your commitment to helping our neighbors most in need.

Because of you, we were able to meet our $10,000 challenge grant and then some! We can’t thank you enough!

With your support, in 2023, Tommy’s Pantry was able to:

• Serve more than 17,000 households
• Distribute 50,700 vital healthcare & cleaning items (not covered by SNAP/food stamps)
• Pack approximately 72,000 lbs. of shelf-stable food
• Deliver 1,795 Smart Sacks to East Silver Spring Elementary School

In addition, more than 1,400 of you donated your labor by volunteering at the Pantry. This is truly a community effort.

Your continued support has helped us deliver services and expand our programs. Allies like you help keep Tommy’s Pantry strong.

Tommy’s Pantry was founded on the idea that Radical Generosity should be a larger part of our everyday lives. The idea is that the more we give, the more we inspire others to give. Radical Generosity isn’t just about fundraising, but about hours spent volunteering, participating, expressing thankfulness and performing acts of generosity in its many forms.

For us this means thanking you from the bottom of our hearts for the Radical Generosity you have shown Tommy’s Pantry throughout the year.  

Thank you for your many acts of generosity, thankfulness and kindness. Thank you for donating your time volunteering and contributing so that Tommy’s Pantry has the manpower and the financial resources to continue to serve our neighbors in need.
